New and Returning Board Members
Congratulations and welcome to James Collins, Matt Dauphinee and David Woo!
James Collins, broker of Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic, was elected by acclamation.
Matt Dauphinee, broker of Domus Realty Limited, was appointed by the NSAR.
David Woo, public member, was re-appointed by the provincial government for a second term on the Board.
Chair and Vice-Chair Election
Following the AGM, the Commission's Board of Directors held an election for chairperson and vice-chairperson. Logan Morse, managing associate broker for Royal LePage Atlantic, was elected as chairperson and Aaron Ferguson, salesperson for Colliers International (Nova Scotia) Inc. was elected as vice-chairperson. Congratulations Logan and Aaron!
Outgoing Board Members
The Commission staff and Board of Directors wish to thank our outgoing Board members, Joanne Bouley and Aaron Millen, for their dedication and service to the Board of Directors.
Joanne Bouley, managing associate broker with Re/Max Fairlane Realty was elected to the Board in 2023, serving three years (1 term) on the Board, including recently serving as co-Chair of the Education Committee.
Aaron Millen, broker of Turning Point Real Estate Limited, was appointed to the Board by NSAR in 2020 and re-appointed in 2023, for a total of 6 years (2 terms) on the Board, including serving as Chair of the Board.

Reminder that the revised forms and updated Commission By-law go into effect tomorrow, May 1, 2026.

Important Dates Reminder
June 15, 2026: Mandatory CPE Deadline
All licensees (salespeople, associate brokers, managing associate brokers, and brokers) are required to complete Professionalism Sells. All broker-level licensees (associate brokers, managing associate brokers, and brokers) are also required to complete the broker CPE: Keeping It on the Rails.
All licensees must complete their mandatory CPE course(s) by 11:59 p.m. on June 15, 2026. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility to renew your licence(s). Renewal eligibility will be reinstated once all required CPE courses have been successfully completed. Licensees can verify their CPE completion status at any time through the licensee portal.
