Mandatory Course for 2019-2020: Radon Awareness for Real Estate
YOUR LICENCE ID NUMBER IS SEVEN DIGITS.

In partnership with the Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Health Canada, the mandatory course for all licensees is Radon Awareness for Real Estate. Long-term radon gas exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer in Canada and 8.8% of homes in Nova Scotia have unsafe levels of radon. This online course is designed to teach licensees about radon, the risks it presents, radon testing, and how to address radon testing and mitigation when working with buyers and sellers.

All licensees must complete this course by June 15, 2020. The course fee is $60.00.

You will need your seven-digit licence ID number to enroll in the course. Your licence ID number appears on your licence certificate and on your NSREC Member Dashboard. To view your NSREC Member Dashboard or print/download your licence certificate, log into the licensee portal HERE.
