BROKER BULLETIN: Tomorrow is the Last Day for Licence Renewals
BROKER BULLETIN: Tomorrow is the Last Day for Licence Renewals
There are still approximately 200 licensees who have not renewed their licence.
The licence renewal deadline is tomorrow, June 30, 2026 at 11:59pm. Click HERE to log in to the Commission’s Licensee Portal.
Renew Yourself and Your Brokerage
If you have not already done so, ensure that you renew both your broker licence and your brokerage licence before the deadline.
As broker, if you fail to renew your broker and/or brokerage licence, the brokerage licence will be suspended, as well as all licensees with your brokerage.
Ensure All Your Licensees are Renewed
As broker, you can view the renewal status of all your licensees in the Licensee Portal. If any licensees within your brokerage have not yet renewed, you should contact them immediately. Licensees who do not renew and are not terminated from the brokerage before the deadline will be suspended effective 12am on July 1. The names of suspended licensees, along with the name of their brokerage, will be published by the Commission.
To avoid having non-renewed licensees appear on a suspension publication associated with your brokerage, you as broker may terminate any licensees who will not be renewing before the deadline.
Do not wait until the final hours before the deadline. Complete your renewals and review the status of all licensees within your brokerage as soon as possible.
Trading and Advertising After Termination or Suspension
Once a licensee has been terminated or suspended, they must immediately cease all trading activity and remove all advertising.
Brokers are responsible for ensuring that anyone from their brokerage who is terminated or suspended does not continue to trade in real estate or advertises as a licensee of the brokerage. Allowing an unlicensed individual to continue trading or advertising may result in disciplinary action against both the individual and the broker.
