Call for 2026 Nominations for the Board of Directors
The Commission is accepting nominations for one licensee to join the Board of Directors. Licensees nominate themselves by completing and submitting the Nomination Form. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 4pm. A virtual election will be held in April. The successful candidate will be announced at the AGM on April 30.
Eligible licensees must be in good standing and meet the qualifications per Commission by-law 207:
To be eligible to serve as a member of the Commission, a licensee shall:
(a) Hold a valid real estate licence;
(b) Not have been convicted of an offence pursuant to the Act, the Regulations, or the By-law resulting in
(i) a disciplinary suspension within the past 10 years; or
(ii) a disciplinary licence restriction; or
(iii) a fine greater than $500 within the past two years; or
(iv) a fine of $500 or less within the past year.
(c) Not be a director, officer, board member or employee of another real estate organization whose role is to defend the interests of the industry.
The Board of Directors meets five times annually. The successful candidate will fill a three-year term on the Board of Directors and may also serve on other committees.

Commission Staff Update
Peggy Kell has left the Commission to pursue a new opportunity. Peggy joined the Commission as the Communications and Technology Officer in 2008. The Commission thanks Peggy for her work over the last 18 years and wishes her the best on her new chapter.
Important Dates Reminder
March 29, 2026: Deadline for Nominees for the Board of Directors
Eligible licensees can nominate themselves by completing and submitting the Nomination Form before the deadline at 4pm.
April 30, 2026: Annual General Meeting
June 15, 2026: Mandatory CPE Deadline
All licensees are required to complete the 2025-2026 mandatory CPE course Professionalism Sells before 11:59pm on June 15, 2026 or they will not be able to renew their licence and will not be eligible for renewal until the course is complete. The course is available now via the NSAR Learning Platform. To verify if you have completed your CPE, you can check the licensee portal.
